Question:

What is a "Data Center"?

A Data Center is a fancy name for a building where you can put your server, or often, rent a server from the company that runs the Data Center.

Data Centers have very fast internet and backup power to make sure your server doesn't go down in a power outage.

They also have cooling systems because servers get really hot and will melt if they aren't cooled down. Just like the loud fan in your laptop when you have too many tabs open in your browser.
