What does “IMHO” mean?
IMHO stands for In My Humble Opinion.
It’s internet slang that developers (and everyone else online) use when sharing their personal take on something. You’ll see it in forums, code reviews, GitHub discussions, Stack Overflow comments, and tech blogs.
For example: “IMHO, Rails is still one of the best frameworks for building web apps quickly.”
You might also see IMO (In My Opinion) which means the same thing, just without the “humble” part.
Why do developers use it? In tech discussions, there’s often more than one right answer. IMHO signals “this is my perspective based on my experience, but I know others might disagree.”
